Enrol with Us

New Enrolment

When you come to enrol your child you will be asked some basic details about your family. These are things that we need to know and which help us build up a picture of the child and her/his background.

An essential part of New Entrant enrolment is the child’s birth certificate.
By regulation the school is required to see this document as proof of the child having attained the age of 5 years. If you do not have one then you will need to obtain a copy from the Registrar of Births, Deaths and Marriages where that child was first registered, or alternatively from the Registrar-General, Private Bag, LOWER HUTT, to whom you will need to furnish all relevant details.

New Entrant Attendance

A child turning 5 doesn't automatically mean that they are ready for full attendance.

During the first month, if you find that your New Entrant child is getting very tired, please arrange with the teacher to take the child home for the afternoon to rest or sleep.

School is a very busy and tiring place, especially for young children. However, it is important that you let the teacher know if you are doing this.
